Dr Kartini Farah Rahim is a fully accredited Consultant Dermatologist, registered with the Malaysian National Specialist Registry (NSR 128619). Her clinical expertise spans a wide spectrum of dermatological conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, infectious skin diseases, allergic reactions, and blistering disorders.

Her journey in dermatology commenced in 2004, when she served as a dermatology research fellow in Dundee, Scotland—laying a strong academic and clinical foundation. She was subsequently awarded a Diploma in Dermatology by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and in 2007, she was elected to membership in the Royal College of Physicians (UK).

 

Upon returning to Malaysia, Dr Kartini pursued advanced training at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), where she earned her Advanced Master of Dermatology degree in 2011. Her career includes distinguished service at both Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Serdang, where she refined her skills before establishing her own dermatology practice.

In parallel with her medical career, Dr Kartini has dedicated over a decade as a Senior Lecturer in Medicine and Dermatology at Universiti Putra Malaysia, contributing to the development of future physicians with her blend of academic rigour and clinical insight.
